Patient Advocacy

At BMC, we work hard to meet our patient’s expectations. However, at times we may not succeed in doing so. We recognize that all patients and their families have the right to file a complaint. We always encourage patients and their loved ones to speak directly with the particular staff member or manager of the department in which a problem has occurred. However, if these attempts do not resolve the situation, or if a patient or family member feels uncomfortable addressing their problem within the department, a patient advocate is happy to help.

Request a Patient Advocate

Ask your nurse to put in a request for you to see a patient advocate.
We will make every effort to fulfill the request prior to discharge.

If you are discharged before the consult, below are some available resources.
